Titus2.11-12_Image2Welcome to the Heart for the Homosexual website.

The purpose of this site is to invite people to life changing testimonies and resources grounded in God’s truth and grace.  Let this site be your lifeline resource to believing and proving that God is not dead and has certainly not forgotten or forsaken His children wrestling with same-sex attractions.

My passion for this ministry transpired during my spiritual journey in Christ.  Check out ‘My Journey Home’ menu page to read my story of redemption.

Limp Out Loud

Jesus’ healing comes when we bring our pain, suffering, shame, and guilt out of the darkness and into His light.  As brothers and sisters in Christ, we are commanded to carry each other’s burdens.

“Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness.  Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.  Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.  For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.”  – Galatians 6:1-3

We can’t expect Jesus’ spiritual family to carry our burdens if we do not open our hearts and lives to them.

To the spiritual and obedient servants, we can’t expect to carry each other’s burdens if we do not offer and sacrifice ourselves in the “spirit of gentleness” to listen, pray, and serve those who need us.

This writer is right.  We all need to learn how to “limp out loud.”  Please read Limp Out Loud.

How the Gospel Ended My Same-Sex Relationship

This is a courageous and wonderful story sent to me from two of my spiritual friends that I love dearly.  They know my story and this article brought them back to the same truth my story reveals.  I thank and praise my heavenly Father, my Savior, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit for life changing stories like these.  These are my brothers and sisters who have walked down this luring, slippery, yet deceptive path and have awakened to the Holy Spirit’s voice and truth.  I am so grateful for their calling to speak out.

What is the truth?  The truth is God has so much more for us than we can ever imagine through a fully committed life in Jesus Christ.  But it can only start with us listening and trusting the soft, inner voice of the Holy Spirit and having the courage to confess and turn away from sin and turn toward the way of Jesus.  Yes, it will cost you everything you cling to, rely on, and identify with but God’s word promises that you won’t be left empty or alone.   Instead, you will be embraced with unfailing love, acceptance, and adoption into the royal family.  Isn’t this what we all long for?  You will become a co-heir to Jesus and will learn the mind and heart of Jesus, the greatest man that ever walked on this earth and now lives in heaven and awaits his return.

What is really stopping you?  It is your pride, dreams, desires, fear, loneliness, shame, guilt, fame, or what?

Take the leap of blind faith (free falling) and trust in Jesus with your sexuality, your identity, and all of your life.  Your earthly life will be radically changed and blessed by it and your everlasting life depends on it.
